TIME OUT ... :)

After 4 hectic, mentally draining, tiring, sleepless, tense months... I finally got 1 free weekend :)
And yes! I managed to make the most of it... thnx to my buddies manyu n akshay (kapoor).

We ppl, who met on the 1st day in Kgp (22nd July, 2007 !!)... were at my place together... still the closest of frnds, that we were in the 1st year. I am lucky to retain most of my frnds from 1st yr.. some being hall mates, some Kshitij members... and others.. we keep catchin' up frequently !

Talking about the weekend, we started off on saturday evening , after Manyu had finally arrived. ( Read: 'finally'- thats coz he had already missed two trains to hyd !).

What can be better than getting treats from Kgp seniors in metros :P We had Sarvesh and our S. Com Karishma with us. We met up at eatstreet and treated ourselves to some delicious pizzas, pastas and garlic breads! It was one of the finest pastas I had tasted. yummy!! Ossome food that was....

We followed it up by watchin' a 3d movie at IMAX. Was an amazin experience! But the best part was GODZILLA !! Godzilla is an ossome icecream with 6 scoops of the choiciest flavours placed one over the other along with fruits, jellies, caramels, chocolate sauce n wafers.... in the shape of a godzilla... seriously mindblowing ! Thnx to Sarvesh and Karishma , we had a fantastic evening!

And then today... we decided to cool our heels at OCEAN PARK ! Aaah.. water rides are simply irresistible! You can climb up the stairs again and again to slide down...twisting, turning and twirling.... also the wave pool was enjoyable.. I was in water after a real long time.. ( last time at Puri in March).. I stayed in the pool for abt 2 hrs.... swimming, floating, n practicing the strokes....... dint want to come out at all!!

In the afternoon we played snooker and table tennis.... and had a nice long drive. I was enjoyin driving on the new highways n the outer ring road...

Well.. I don't remember when was the last we chilled out like we did this weekend! On a serious note, this break was more than needed to charge us up. Our batteries had been running down of late..

And not to forget... m also missing Kgp these holidays a lot.. not for its peaceful life, or my hostel life,.. but for some of my very good frnds.. some old.. and some news ones made this semester!..

Rohit n Mihir.. m missin u guys yaar.. ( yo RK !!). we've shared all our frustration, sorrow, anger, tension... and... some jokes.. funny moments... small moments of happiness..laughter ! U ppl hav really become very close frnds of mine in a short span of 3 months... thnx to ktj for givin me such brilliant colleagues and even more wonderful frnds... same goes out to other ppl in our team.... Oye Praveen.. if u read this.. m missin u too man!

Chalo.. lemme wind up here.. btw long time since I've posted... hope people remember that this blog exists :P

And yes.. not forgetting to include the musical element, I thank Manan for makin me hear AIR SUPPLY. I've simply got addicted to their songs... especially... 'here I am', 'making love out of nothing at all', and 'two less lonely people in the world'. Ossome lyrix and tune... whoever reads this..plzz here these songs once. U'll like them too... :)
